Philosophy was born from idleness, the ability to be amazed and to allow ourselves to discover, comes from ancient Greece The moment of inactivity, as a stop for reflection and creation is, also in coaching, the moment when we are ready to look around us to discover what we want to do, how we want to think and act. Several origins are attributed to coaching. We can think that the Socratic method has similarities with what is done in coaching today. We can refer to the history of the University of Oxford, in the 18th century, drawing a parallel between the Lords who traveled in carriages (coaches) driven by coachmen (coachs) to the University and the tutors who prepared students for the tests. More recently, in the 20th century, the work of professional coaching is attributed to tennis coach Timothey Gallwey from Harvard University in the USA, who focused on helping his players to overcome internal obstacles to their performance, publishing the book \u201cThe Inner Game of Tennis\u201d.<\/p>\n\t<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\n\t\t<\/div> \n\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div> \n<\/div><\/div>\n\t\t\t<\/div> \n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div> \n\n\t

Stopping inside us with the intention of moving forward is the first step of the way. We move forward when we allow ourselves to stop and decide which path to choose.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
